Dominique Pride receives faculty promotion

Dominque Pride has been promoted to research associate professor.

Research Assistant Professor Dominique Pride has been promoted to the rank of research associate professor at the 汤姆视频, effective July 1.

Pride鈥檚 research with ACEP focuses on energy and environmental economics and applied microeconomics, with energy cost burden, residential energy efficiency and energy demand as her main interests.

Pride led the Pump Monitoring Apparatus fuel meter and the Secure and Resilient Power Generation in Cold Environments Phase 1 projects. She is currently leading the following projects: Defense University Research Instrumentation Program, , and .

Pride is also working on the energy economics and policy task for the 1 project, as well as the residential energy task and the energy data and metering task for the ARCTIC 2 project.

鈥淒ominique is an established leader within ACEP and is also quickly becoming a globally recognized researcher for her work on energy-cost burden,鈥 ACEP Director Jeremy Kasper said.

Pride completed a bachelor鈥檚 degree in economics from Marshall University. She then earned a master鈥檚 degree in resource and applied economics and doctoral degree in natural resources and sustainability, both from UAF.
