Two New Graduate Students Join the ACEP Team: Jeremy Vandermeer and Camilla Kennedy
Jeremy B VanderMeer
Jeremy will be working on the Nome Power Integration Study. He has an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo, in Ontario and is currently working on attaining his Masters in Renewable Energy from the University of Oldenburg, in Germany.
Camilla Kennedy
Camilla received her BA in Economics from UAF, and will receive her Masters degree in Environmental Economics from the London School of Economics in December. Camilla is working on two projects at the moment. First, she is helping with the effort to quantitatively understand the determinants of diesel fuel pricing across Alaskan communities. Second, she is taking the lead on a study to try to understand causes of variation in technical performance of diesel-based power houses.
