The kick off meeting for the Energy Storage Working Group will take place September
28th at the
Westmark Fairbanks Hotel & Conference Center. The meeting is free to attend and open
to all who are interested in successful energy storage deployment in Alaska. It is
being held directly preceding the ABB and SAFT Grid Stability and Energy Storage Workshop,
which is also free to attend.
The Energy Storage Working Group is a collaboration of government agencies, nonprofit organi-zations, businesses, and individuals interested in identifying specific concerns, barriers, and ob-stacles to energy storage development in Alaska. This meeting aims to be a facilitated forum for discussion of energy storage issues, including the development and promotion of “best practices” policies for the effective utilization of energy storage in Alaska.
