Alaska Power Association Members Tour ETF
The 67th annual meeting was held in Fairbanks and around 20 APA members took the opportunity to tour ACEP’s .
The tour, led by ETF manager David Light, showcased the current and future work being conducted in the lab including the fault emulator that is designed to provide 1:1 data sets to gain an understanding of the impacts of faults on grid inertia. This is a need identified by ACEP and utility partners and will help to accurately represent transient dynamics in a grid.
If you would like to arrange your own tour of the lab, please contact Heike Merkel at (970) 718-2817 or hmerkel@alaska.edu.
