Solarize Is Coming to Fairbanks
Fairbanks Solarize+ is launching a 2020 campaign to make solar photovoltaic energy systems more accessible and affordable for businesses and homeowners in the Fairbanks area. Building on the success of the Solarize Anchorage campaign which helped Anchorage achieve a 1,000 percent increase of solar systems installed since 2015, Fairbanks Solarize+ is seeking community members that want to solarize their neighborhood. The campaign will bring neighbors together to purchase solar panels and receive discounted rates on panels and installations. It will provide homeowners with less expensive panels by pairing group discount rates with available federal incentives.
To learn more, you are invited to attend the Fairbanks Solarize+ 2020 Campaign Informational Workshop on Nov. 14, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the Cold Climate Housing Research Center. Find out more by visiting.
