Fairbanks Communities Are Excited to Solarize

Three meetings are coming up soon. If you’re interested in solar for your home or business and live in or near an area that’s solarizing, Solarize Fairbanks encourages you to attend. The meetings will cover how the Solarize campaign works, details on the solar installer selection process, and plenty of time for questions.

Upcoming meetings include:
• Solarize Ester: Ester Volunteer Fire Department on Thursday, Jan. 30, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
• Solarize Gilmore/Steele Creek Area: Steese Volunteer Fire Department on Monday, Feb. 3, 7-8:30 p.m.
• Solarize College Road: University Community Presbyterian Church on Thursday, Feb. 6, 6-7:30 p.m.

Solarize Fairbanks is still recruiting Fairbanks neighborhoods and organizations interested in going solar in 2020! Applications of interest are due by Jan. 30, 2020. To learn more, visit the Facebook page at or email solarizefairbanks@gmail.com.
