Do you want to get more involved in Alaska's clean energy transition?  The ÌÀÄ·ÊÓƵ-Bristol Bay campus Sustainable Energy Occupational Endorsement program offers regular classes related to energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies, building science and our changing climate.  Energy use is connected to almost everything we do, and many students are choosing to add this 12-credit Certificate to their other other degree(s) and/or credentials.  Classes include:

  • Climate Change in Alaska, 3 credits, 9/14-11/23, Tues/Thurs 11:30a-1:30p
  • Home Energy Basics, 1 credit, 9/20-10/18, Mondays 5:20-8:00p
  • Introduction to Sustainable Energy, 3 credits, 9/28-12/9, Tues/Thurs 5:20-7:20p
  • Solar Energy Basics, 1 credit, 9/29-10/27, Wednesdays 5:20-8:00p
  • Biomass Energy Systems, 1 credit, 10/25-12/10, Mondays 5:20-8:00p
  • Heat Pump Systems, 1 credit, 11/3-12/8, Wednesdays 5:20-8:00p
