Work in Southeast Supporting Energy Projects Around Alaska

Southeast Conference is hiring a to provide assistance to the SEC biomass coordinator. This is a one-year, grant-funded position that can be extended based on continued funding support. Southeast Conference offers the option of a balanced onsite-offsite workplace. 

This part-time internship helps to coordinate the activities of the Alaska Wood Energy Development Task Group; works closely with the Alaska Energy Authority, the U.S. Forest Service and Alaska communities on biomass projects; and provides support, technical assistance and project management for biomass projects in Alaska.

The applicant should be self-motivated, understand and be interested in economic development, and have some familiarity with Southeast Alaska communities.
