New Article Explores Forest Health and Powering Alaska Native Communities

An article recently published in Western Forester explores the use of locally harvested wood to heat schools in communities around Alaska.

The article titled , authored by ACEP鈥檚 Daisy Huang, U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service鈥檚 Dave Nicholls and 汤姆视频 Cooperative Extension Service鈥檚 Art Nash, provides case studies for seven predominantly Alaska Native communities, and shares the 鈥渢riple bottom line鈥 financial, environmental and social benefits.
