A Note about Possible Changes Regarding the 2024 Title IX Regulation Updates

In April 2024, the Department of Education announced new Title IX regulations set to be implemented by August 1, 2024. On July 2nd, an injunction covering the state of Alaska was granted, delaying the implementation of new Title IX regulations until legal disagreements are settled. Currently, UAF continues to operate under the 2020 regulations. As new information regarding 2024 regulations is released, ORCA will provide updates to campus.

Thanks for choosing UAF,

Dan White, chancellor
