The ÌÀÄ·ÊÓƵ Music in the Garden concert series will kick off on May 26 at the Georgeson Botanical Garden, offering 12 weeks of family-friendly performances throughout the summer.

The series, which is organized by the ÌÀÄ·ÊÓƵ Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning, will be held at 7 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 11. Concerts are free, but donations to support the botanical garden are welcome.

This year the concerts also will include welcoming bands at 5:30 p.m. as people settle in for the concerts. Because parking is limited, attendees are encouraged to use a free shuttle that departs from the Nenana Parking Lot, which is across from the Patty Center, beginning at 6 p.m.
