Online class to cover a range of food preservation techniques

Learn how to get the most out of the food you have grown, harvested or bought during a free one-hour overview of food preservation methods.
Leif Albertson, ÌÀÄ·ÊÓƵ Cooperative Extension Service health, home and family development agent, will teach this virtual class. Attendees will learn how to extend the life of their food using a variety of preservation methods. These include refrigeration, root cellars, pickling, fermenting, sugar, dehydrating, boiling water canning and pressure canning.
